The Bmore Creatives + Wet City present Bmore IRL, a pop-up gallery featuring photographs by some of Baltimore's most avid Instagrammers. From skyline shots to poignant portraits, the collection will feature 50 user-submitted photos and will hang publicly at Wet City from March 16 – March 30.
Â
Community members are asked to submit their best photos for consideration to be displayed by using the hashtag #bmoreIRL on Instagram. If selected, you’ll be asked to allow a print of your image to hang in the gallery and to be made available for purchase by gallery visitors, with all proceeds going directly to the artist.
Â
We're kicking off the gallery opening on March 16, where everyone is invited to view the show, meet and mingle with other avid Instagrammers, and enjoy the deliciousness of Wet City.
Photographers whose work is selected to be displayed will be notified via direct message and will be asked to email a high resolution digital image, of which one copy will be printed by local printing company Alpha Graphics. Photos may be cropped.
Â
Each photograph hung in the gallery will be made available for purchase, with all proceeds going directly to the artist. As the photographer, you retain the original image ownership and copyright.
The 2-week exhibit kicks off March 16, and you're invited to take part in the festivities. Stop by Wet City to check out the show, connect with other Baltimore IG-ers, and grab some beers/snacks (food and drink will be available for purchase).
Â
Prints can be purchased with cash only at any time from March 16-30, but will hang for the duration of the exhibit. Those who purchase prints will be asked to pick them up at Wet City after March 30.
